Delivery Driver

About the role

Misfits Market is a mission-driven startup that aims to reduce food waste and make sustainable, high-quality groceries accessible and affordable. We deliver a wide range of products including organic produce, meat, seafood, plant-based proteins, dairy, bakery, wine, and more to nearly every zip code in 48 states at up to 30% off traditional grocery store prices. We've expanded by acquiring Imperfect Foods and now leverage our own transportation network for efficient deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders directly to their doorstep with professionalism and care.
• Safely navigate various weather conditions and hazards during shifts.
• Load and unload up to 150 boxes per shift, each weighing up to 50 lbs, using proper lifting techniques.
• Support the Packaging Return Program by collecting and documenting customer recycling.
• Help other drivers complete their routes or work overtime as needed to meet delivery volume requirements.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid state-issued driver's license for at least 2 years.
• Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Two years of previous delivery driving experience.
• Comfortable operating a delivery van in all types of weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repeatedly with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience working in a food-based environment.
