About the role

Job requirements and duties

• Must be 18 years old and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes.

Qualifications

• General job duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing orders, and cleaning facilities.
• Training is provided on the job.
• Communication skills are essential, including the ability to give and understand written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Essential functions include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing accurately, making correct monetary change, and using motor coordination for precise movements.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying trays, and navigating stairs.

Driving specific job duties

• Deliver product by car to the customer's door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Essential skills

Work conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions during deliveries.
• In-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in cooler areas to 90 degrees and above in warmer areas.
• Sudden changes in temperature both inside and outside the store.
• Fumes from food odors.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Crammed quarters, including walk-in coolers.
• Hot surfaces and tools from ovens up to 500 degrees or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments

• The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

Physical requirements

• Standing most of the time.
• Walking for short distances for short durations.
• Surfaces include ceramic tile, bricks with linoleum, and floors.
• Height of work surfaces is between 36 and 48 inches.
• Sitting at a desk or table for paperwork.
• Lifting bulk product deliveries twice a week, weighing up to 50 pounds, and stacking up to 72 high.
• Carrying large cans weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, and trays of pizza dough weighing approximately 12 pounds per tray.
• Pushing trays on dollies, which require a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push.
• Pulling trays.
• Climbing stairs or ladders to change prices on signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance.
