Responsibilities
- Operate all store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Deliver pizzas using an insured vehicle, navigating to addresses within the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to make correct monetary change.
- Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

- Capability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, and analyze/compile data.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks (e.g., removing trash).
- In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F+ in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler), and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher).
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensory Requirements
- Talking and hearing on the telephone.
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
- Depth perception and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Physical Requirements
- Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
- Walking: Short distances for short durations on surfaces like ceramic tile or linoleum.
- Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting: Deliveries include cases weighing up to 50 pounds, lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
- Carrying: Items like 3-pound cans, 30-pound pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough (12 pounds per tray).
- Pushing/Pulling: Trays on dollies (stacks of 24-30 trays requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force).
- Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for tasks like changing signs or maintenance.
Advancement
Many team members start as delivery drivers and advance to successful franchise owners or corporate roles. Domino’s offers opportunities from delivery driver to management, general manager, franchisee, or Manager of Corporate Operations.
