About the role

Responsibilities
- Operate all store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Navigate and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to make correct monetary change.
- Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements (e.g., entering orders via keyboard or touch screen).

- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing.
- Ability to work under stress, meet quality control standards, and analyze/compile data.
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, and make judgments/decisions.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and adverse weather conditions (e.g., removing trash, outside tasks).
- In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F+ in work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler), and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F+).
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensory Requirements
- Talking and hearing on the telephone.
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
- Depth perception and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Physical Requirements
- Standing: Most tasks performed from a standing position.
- Walking: Short distances for short durations on ceramic tile/brick surfaces.
- Sitting: Paperwork completed at a desk or table.
- Lifting: Unloading bulk deliveries (up to 50 lbs) and stacking onto shelves up to 72" high.
- Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray).
- Pushing/Pulling: Moving trays on dollies (force up to 7.5 lbs).
- Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for maintenance or sign changes.
