Delivery Driver / Account Manager

About the role

Abita Roasting Company is looking for a dependable Delivery Driver / Account Manager for our coffee distribution operation. You'll be responsible for safely delivering coffee and related products to our customers while providing friendly, professional service. This role involves loading your route, making deliveries, interacting with customers, and ensuring each order reaches its destination. You will also manage coffee orders for specific customers, taking their orders and delivering them at the end of the week.

Responsibilities

• Load your vehicle for the day's route
• Deliver coffee and related products to customer locations
• Safely load and unload products
• Maintain an organized delivery van
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Report delivery issues or customer needs to our team
• Complete delivery paperwork
• Help with warehouse and distribution tasks as needed
• Keep your route moving safely and on schedule

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Clean and dependable driving record
• Able to lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs
• Dependable and punctual
• Friendly and professional with customers
• Able to work independently
• Able to follow a delivery route and stay organized
• Respond to customers in a timely fashion
