About the role

Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering orders to designated locations on time. Punctuality and honesty are required attitudes for applicants. Delivery Drivers must know how to read a basic road map. Orders must be delivered correctly and on time in a courteous manner. Delivery vehicles must be well maintained before and after each shift.

Responsibilities

• Pre-delivery vehicle preparations
• Learning the delivery area
• Checking orders for quality and accuracy
• Providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone
• Food preparation and packaging
• Taking orders and collecting payments
• Cleaning and maintenance of the store and its equipment
• Rotating commissary deliveries
• Aiding in food preparation, taking customer orders, cleaning duties, and rotating food shipments that include lifting up to 50 pounds
• Being well versed in product details, services, charges, and other related important information to share with customers when needed

Work environment & physical demands

While performing duties, team members may be required to work outdoors in various temperatures, in a noisy environment, near moving mechanical parts, with dangerous equipment or sharp tools, and around fumes, odors, dust or toxic chemicals. This job can be physically demanding: team members may be required to use hands repetitively, stand for prolonged periods, bend over, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch, stoop, or kneel.

• 18 years of age or older
• Driver's license valid under the laws of the state where the team member works, and licensed for two or more years
• Acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract, including no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last 3 years (DUI or speeding ticket over 25 mph will not be considered)
• Insured and satisfactory vehicle
• Ability to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, including nights, weekends, and emergencies
• Willingness to learn, be cross-trained, and perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed

Pay

$15.80 hourly with additional tips and compensation. Reimbursement for gas consumption based on a third party surveyor's recommended reimbursement rate, currently at $1.60 per run, plus reimbursement for data usage. Any credit card/cash tips are paid to the driver from customers.
