About the role
Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering orders to designated locations on time. Punctuality and honesty are required attitudes for applicants. Delivery Drivers must know how to read a basic road map. Drivers ensure delivery vehicles are well maintained before and after each shift. This role also involves food preparation, taking customer orders, cleaning duties, and rotating food shipments that include lifting up to 50 pounds. Drivers must be well versed in product details, services, charges, and other related information to share with customers when needed.
Working conditions
While performing duties, team members may be required to work outdoors in various temperatures, in a noisy environment, near moving mechanical parts, with dangerous equipment or sharp tools, and around fumes, odors, dust or toxic chemicals. This job can be physically demanding: team members may be required to use hands repetitively, stand for prolonged periods, bend over, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch, stoop, or kneel.

- Providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone

- Taking orders and collecting payments
- Cleaning and maintenance of the store and its equipment
- Rotating commissary deliveries
Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Sense of urgency in all aspects of the job
- Customer focused with strong initiative
- Cash management skills
- 18 years of age or older
- Driver's license valid under the laws of the state where the team member works, and licensed for two or more years
- Acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract with no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last 3 years (anyone with a DUI or speeding ticket over 25 mph will not be considered)
- Insured and have a satisfactory vehicle
- Ability to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, including nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise
- Willingness to learn and be comfortable being cross-trained and perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed
- Ability to work the above listed duties with reasonable accommodation if needed
Pay
$15.80–$17.55 hourly with additional tips and mileage compensation when applicable. Wage for all Delivery Drivers is minimum wage, with reimbursement for gas consumption based on a third party surveyor's recommended reimbursement rate (currently $1.60 per mile), and reimbursement for data usage. Any credit card/cash tips are paid to the driver from customers.
