About the role

Domino's Pizza Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering orders to designated locations on time with a focus on punctuality, honesty, and courteous service. Drivers must ensure delivery vehicles are well-maintained and be knowledgeable about product details, services, and charges to assist customers effectively.

This role involves working outdoors in various temperatures, in noisy environments, and around moving mechanical parts or sharp tools. The job can be physically demanding, requiring repetitive hand use, prolonged standing, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, stooping, or kneeling. Drivers may also assist with food preparation, order-taking, cleaning, and rotating food shipments, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Pre-delivery vehicle preparations
• Learning the delivery area
• Checking orders for quality and accuracy
• Providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction
• Food preparation and packaging
• Taking orders and collecting payments
• Cleaning and maintenance of the store and its equipment
• Rotating commissary deliveries

Requirements

• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Customer-focused with strong initiative
• Cash management skills
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license for two or more years in the state of employment
• Acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract (no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last year; no DUI or speeding tickets over 24 mph)
• Insured and satisfactory vehicle
• Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and unscheduled shifts as emergencies arise
• Willingness to learn and be cross-trained for other restaurant duties

Pay

• Base wage: $17.13 per hour
• Mileage reimbursement: $0.45 per mile (based on third-party surveyor’s recommended rate)
