About the role

Domino’s Pizza is seeking qualified drivers to staff stores in your area. The position offers a flexible schedule that lets you work when you need to, leaving plenty of time for school, friends, or a second job. Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare pizza and other products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility on a daily basis.
• Deliver orders to customers, navigating maps, multi‑story buildings, and adverse terrain.
• Provide accurate monetary change and handle cash transactions.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Follow orientation and on‑the‑job training provided by the store.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Clean driving abstract.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries (registered in your name or with a release of use).
• Vehicle insurance that meets company requirements.
• 2 + years of licensed driving experience.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with monetary values.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• Strong navigational skills to locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to read maps and use GPS or other navigation tools.
• Capability to work in varying weather conditions and temperature extremes.

Skills

• Verbal, written, and telephone communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers.
• Proficiency with basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Motor coordination for rapid, precise movements (e.g., handling pizza trays, operating equipment).
• Computer literacy for order entry via keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to outdoor weather while removing trash or performing other outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36 °F in coolers to 90 °F+ in other areas.
• Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters, including walk‑in coolers.
• Hot surfaces and tools (up to 500 °F or higher).
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Auditory demands: talking and hearing on the telephone.
• Visual demands: near and mid‑range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for most tasks.
• Walking short distances on ceramic tile, brick, or linoleum surfaces.
• Sitting for paperwork at a desk or table.
• Lifting bulk deliveries (cases up to 50 lb, dimensions up to 3′ × 1.5′) and stacking onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
• Carrying large cans (≈ 3 lb 7 oz) and pizza sauce containers (≈ 30 lb).
• Moving trays of pizza dough (≈ 12 lb per tray) and pushing/pulling dollies with multiple trays (≈ 7.5 lb of force).
• Occasional climbing of stairs or ladders for sign changes, wall washing, or maintenance.
