About the role

The role is located in West Spokane, near Medical Lake, Cheney, and Spokane at exit 272. The primary responsibility is to deliver orders to designated locations on time using personal vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Punctuality and honesty are key attitudes we're looking for.
• Minimum age requirement is 18 years old with at least two years of driving experience.
• Knowledge of reading a basic road map is essential.
• Ensure orders are delivered correctly and on time in a courteous manner.
• Maintain delivery vehicles before and after shifts.
• Aid in food preparation, take customer orders, clean duties, and rotate food shipments including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Be well-versed in product details, services, charges, and related information.
• Work outdoors in various temperatures, in noisy environments, near moving mechanical parts, with dangerous equipment or sharp tools, and around fumes, odors, dust, or toxic chemicals.
• Perform physically demanding tasks: repetitive hand use, standing for prolonged periods, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, stooping, or kneeling.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency in all aspects of the job.
• Customer-focused with strong initiative and cash management skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license in the state where working, and have been licensed for at least two years.
• An acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract, with no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last year.
• No DUIs or speeding tickets over 24 mph.
• Insured and have a satisfactory vehicle.
• Willing to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise.
• Willing to learn and be cross-trained to perform other workstation duties as needed.

Benefits

Wage for all Delivery Drivers is minimum wage at $17.13-$18.10 per hour, with reimbursement for miles driven at $.44 per mile, reimbursement for data usage, and any credit card/cash tips paid to the driver from customers.
