Delivery Driver (6113) - Jackson, TN

About the role

Drivers typically average over $20/hr (Wage + Tips + Mileage reimbursement).

Mileage reimbursement and tips paid daily, hourly wages paid out every other Friday.

Responsibilities

• Use safe driving practices to deliver products within a designated delivery area.
• Make several deliveries per shift.
• Travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
• Carry pizzas and beverages while performing "walking" and "climbing" duties.
• Navigate 5+ flights of stairs as needed.
• Perform stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, and hand tasks.
• Manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven.
• Grasp cans, the pizza cutter, and pizza boxes.
• Talk and hear on telephone.
• Differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Have near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
• Have good navigational skills and be able to read/follow maps and locate addresses within designated delivery area.
• Be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
• Be able to work alone and well with others.
• Work well under stress.
• Meet strict quality control standards.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Make good judgments and decisions.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record and at least 2 years of driving history.
• Must be able to use a company-provided vehicle if desired.

• Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
• Fumes from food odors, including exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Compact work areas including walk-in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools including oven reaching 500 degrees or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
