Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver orders using an insured vehicle while navigating designated delivery areas, including multi-story buildings.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Basic math skills for making correct monetary change and performing calculations quickly.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Skills

• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
• Coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for tasks requiring speed and precision.
• Ability to work under stress, meet quality control standards, and analyze/compile data.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures ranging from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or above in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler).
• Hot surfaces/tools, including ovens up to 500°F or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• Walking: Short distances for short durations on surfaces like ceramic tile or linoleum.
• Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Unloading bulk deliveries (up to 50 lbs) using a hand truck and stacking onto shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray, carried three at a time).
• Pushing/Pulling: Moving trays on dollies (requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force).
• Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices or performing maintenance.
