Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver pizzas using an insured vehicle with navigational skills to locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi-story buildings.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Basic math skills for making correct monetary change and handling transactions.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Skills

• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
• Near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, and handle stress.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or above in work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher).
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• Walking: Short distances for short durations on surfaces like ceramic tile or linoleum.
• Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Deliveries include cases weighing up to 50 pounds, lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying: Items like large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray).
• Pushing/Pulling: Trays on dollies require a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push.
• Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices or maintenance.
