About the role

Domino's Pizza is looking for qualified drivers to staff stores in your area. Responsibilities

  • Deliver pizzas using an insured vehicle while maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, navigating adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
  • Learn all aspects of the business, including customer service, product preparation, and clean-up.
  • Operate store equipment and handle ingredients.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
  • Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
  • Basic math skills for handling monetary transactions and making change.
  • Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Skills

  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately.
  • Coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements.
  • Ability to work under stress, meet quality control standards, and analyze data.

Work Conditions

  • Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
  • In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or above in work areas.
  • Sudden temperature changes in work areas and while outside.
  • Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler).
  • Hot surfaces/tools from ovens (up to 500°F or higher) and sharp edges/moving mechanical parts.

Sensory Requirements

  • Talking and hearing on the telephone.
  • Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
  • Depth perception and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments

  • Ability to direct activities and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Work alone or with others, make judgments, and decisions.

Physical Requirements

  • Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
  • Walking: Short distances for short durations on surfaces like ceramic tile or linoleum.
  • Sitting: Paperwork is completed in an office at a desk or table.
  • Lifting: Unloading bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) and stacking onto shelves up to 72" high.
  • Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray).
  • Pushing/Pulling: Moving trays on dollies (force up to 7.5 pounds).
  • Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices or maintenance.
