Pay averages $16–$22 per hour, including tips and mileage. Tips and mileage are paid daily, with averages varying based on location, shift, and number of deliveries. Weekly pay is provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate all store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product as needed.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Complete associated paperwork.
- Clean designated items daily.
- Navigate to customer addresses within the designated delivery area using maps or navigational apps.
- Handle deliveries in various terrains, including multi-story buildings.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and at least 2 years of driving history, meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
- Strong navigational skills to read maps and use navigational apps.
Skills
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Strong verbal communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
- Excellent customer service and service recovery skills.
- Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and making correct monetary change.
- Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements, such as entering orders on a computer keyboard or touch screen.
