Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment and handle ingredients.
• Prepare and deliver pizzas and other products to customers.
• Receive and process telephone and in-person orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying products.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to process orders.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Eye-hand coordination for tasks such as shaping pizza dough, using a pizza peel, and assembling boxes.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for most tasks, with walking for short distances and durations.
• Sitting for paperwork in an office area.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds (e.g., cases of ingredients, trays of pizza dough, or 30-pound pizza sauce containers).
• Pushing and pulling trays on dollies (requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force).
• Climbing stairs or ladders for tasks such as changing signs or performing maintenance.
• Stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting for tasks like stocking shelves or cleaning.
• Reaching continuously in various directions (up, down, and forward).
• Frequent and forceful use of hands, forearms, and wrists for tasks like shaping dough, using a pizza cutter, and assembling boxes.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions (e.g., when delivering or performing outside tasks).
• In-store temperatures ranging from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or higher in work areas.
• Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher).
• Cramped quarters, including walk-in coolers and workspaces with sharp edges or moving mechanical parts.
• Far and night vision required for driving.
