Responsibilities

• Deliver orders using an insured vehicle with a safe driving record.
• Navigate to customer addresses using maps or GPS, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Operate store equipment and prepare food products.
• Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage and work areas.
• Receive and process telephone and in-person orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis.
• Handle monetary transactions, including making correct change.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Basic math skills for handling monetary transactions and inventory.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, such as using a keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or higher in work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler), and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher).
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts in the work environment.

Sensory and Physical Requirements

• Sensory:
  • Talking and hearing on the telephone.
  • Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
  • Depth perception for navigating the store and handling equipment.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Physical:
  • Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
  • Walking: Short distances for short durations, on surfaces like ceramic tile or linoleum.
  • Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
  • Lifting:
    • Unload bulk deliveries (up to 50 lbs) using a hand truck and stack onto shelves up to 72" high.
    • Carry large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray, carried three at a time).
  • Pushing/Pulling: Move trays on dollies (requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force).
  • Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for tasks like changing signs or performing maintenance.
• Temperaments:
  • Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, and work under stress.
  • Meet strict quality control standards and handle customer interactions professionally.
  • Analyze and compile data, make judgments, and decisions efficiently.
