Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver pizzas using an insured vehicle, navigating to addresses within the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.

Skills

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to make correct monetary change.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or above in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
• Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, and hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F or higher).
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
• Walking: Short distances for short durations on surfaces like ceramic tile or linoleum.
• Sitting: Paperwork is completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Deliveries include cases of ingredients/supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray, carried three at a time).
• Pushing/Pulling: Trays on dollies (stacks of 24-30 trays requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force).
• Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for tasks like changing prices, washing walls, or performing maintenance.

Sensory and Temperament Requirements

• Sensing: Talking/hearing on the phone, near/mid-range vision for tasks, depth perception, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Temperaments: Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze/compile data, and make judgments/decisions.
