About the role
Mail delivery driver/mail carrier responsible for executing USPS mail routes in Tonopah, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Sort mail and packages for delivery
- Load items into the delivery vehicle in sequence
- Deliver mail and parcels to customer boxes along assigned routes
- Dismount to deliver parcels and accountable mail
- Perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- Legal work authorization in the U.S.
- Minimum age of 18
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Capable of driving safely in all weather conditions
- Reside near Tonopah, AZ
- Own a qualifying vehicle (Minivan/Cargo Van, < 5 years old, ≥120 cu ft capacity, with insurance)
- Previous USPS experience preferred
- Availability to start immediately
Schedule
- Full-time, 6 days/week, Monday to Saturday
- Estimated work hours: 8:30 am - 6:30 pm
- Approximately 50 miles/day, 25-mile delivery route
Pay
$300/day as a 1099 contractor, paid monthly
