About the role

The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.

Requirements

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3).
• Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments.
• Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or equivalent.
• 3+ years of work with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience, Knowledge of the primary AWS services, Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments, Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or equivalent, 3+ years of work with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments, Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale, Recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience, Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments, Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR, AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation), Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python), Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS DataSync, Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Terraform, Python, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS DataSync, AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Terraform, Python, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS DataSync.
