About the role

The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives.
  • Drive customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.
  • Gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions.
  • Lead the implementation process, ensure adherence to best practices, optimize performance, and manage risks throughout the project.

Requirements

  • Possess a deep understanding of AWS products and services.
  • Proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions.
  • Experience in designing, planning, and implementing applications and/or database migrations to the cloud.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of work with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery experience.

Skills

  • Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments.
  • Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale.
  • Recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience.
  • Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
  • AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS DataSync.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

  • USA, CO, Denver - 131,300.00 - 177,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, MO, St. Louis - 131,300.00 - 177,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, VA, Arlington - 131,300.00 - 177,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, VA, Herndon - 131,300.00 - 177,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Seattle - 131,300.00 - 177,600.00 USD annually
