Delivery Consultant, National Security (NatSec) WWPS Professional Services (ProServe)

About the role

Join Amazon’s world-class technical teams to help accelerate the growth of our Professional Services business. Engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base.

Responsibilities

• Help implement innovative cloud computing solutions for U.S. Intelligence Community agencies.
• Solve technical problems and consult with customers on application architectures and integration approaches.
• Develop and lead projects towards successful outcomes, collaborating with product and service teams.
• Educate, train, and build cloud solutions for a diverse and challenging set of Intelligence Community customers.
• Work with large-scale computing solutions and have past experience as a systems or support engineer.
• Stay current with new technical skills and contribute to deep architecture discussions.
• Create innovative solutions built on AWS, participating in deep-dive education and design exercises.
• Work from one of the above locations (or customer sites) at least 1+ days per week.

Requirements

• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Opt-in for a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which you perform AWS work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3).
• Experience implementing AWS services in various distributed computing environments.
• Current US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 5+ years of IT implementation experience.
• Advanced Technology degree or AWS Professional level certification.
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
• Experience and technical expertise in cloud computing technologies.
• Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale.
• Recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience.
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments.

Skills

• Strong understanding of large scale computing solutions.
