About the role

The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing AWS solutions that meet customer technical requirements and business objectives. The consultant will provide technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Mentoring, training, and sharing knowledge within the organization

Requirements

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field or equivalent
• Experience migrating customer workloads, servers or databases to the cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT implementation experience
• Advanced degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification
• Experience in large scale migration- data center to data center or data center to cloud infrastructure
• Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS DataSync
