About the role

The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Requirements

  • 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in software development, or experience in Kubernetes, Docker or containers ecosystem and experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions, with deep expertise in microservices and distributed systems
  • 3+ years of experience with microservices and distributed systems implementation on cloud and one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Node.js, .NET)

Qualifications

  • Experience with the AWS platform, web services, software development, or related technologies
  • AWS Professional level certification, or Associate's degree or above
  • Experience with automation or working with scripting languages like Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent
  • Experience with AWS Services including EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Experience integrating AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Amazon Q); Understanding of AI/ML governance and responsible AI practices

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually.
