About the role
The AWS Professional Services team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project
Requirements
- Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services
- Proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer
- Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
- Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
Skills
- Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar
- Experience managing data center operations, including data assurance, monitoring, alerting and notifications
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR

Pay
$131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually
