Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and proper loading and transport of merchandise to be delivered.
- Efficiently assemble service and/or deliver customer and store merchandise.
- This may include exercise machines, trampolines, basketball hoops, safes, grills, furniture, game tables, bicycles and all other Scheels merchandise.
- Troubleshoot and respond to customer delivery and equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records for store, customer equipment, and delivery trucks.
- Maintain the vehicles should be the leader and budgeting for oil changes, tires, etc.
- Execute quick and efficient ordering of parts and supplies while staying within designated budgets.
- Absorb and communicate company policies and procedures.
- Absorb and communicate company culture.
- Ensure a clean and professional appearance of the Scheels delivery trucks and delivery area in your store.

- Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate must possess a clean, valid driver’s license and be an approved driver through DOT and Scheels Driving Standards and be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma, or General Education Degree(GED), one to three months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
