Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to established delivery schedules and timelines.
- Load, secure, and transport merchandise safely to designated customer locations.
- Verify delivery documentation and record all vehicle movements on daily route logs.
- Ensure accurate and secure unloading of merchandise at customer sites.
- Perform regular inspections and basic maintenance to maintain vehicle in safe working condition.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the assigned delivery vehicle.
- Uphold company standards by protecting assets and financial information through accurate execution of internal control procedures.
- Perform responsibilities in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, requiring a high level of self-sufficiency and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for operation of box trucks. (21 years of age or older)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in commercial or delivery driving is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and internal personnel.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage time effectively, and multi-task in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of regular duties.
- Proficiency with navigation systems (GPS), time tracking systems, and basic vehicle technology.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
