About the role
The McLane team is a diverse group of professionals who work together to keep operations running smoothly. As a Delivery Assistant, you will support the Delivery Driver but will not drive the truck.
Responsibilities
- Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2-wheeled dolly
- Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas
- Aid the Driver in ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift and move product and pallets weighing up to 75 pounds
- Read, write, and understand English sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely
- Ability to follow safety protocols and communicate effectively
