Basic Qualifications

  • Experience reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings, technical data and planning documents
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures
  • Knowledge/experience evaluating risk when establishing new processes, automated controls and improvements
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Ability to multitask, clear concise verbal and written skills

Job Description

Quality Delivery and Sustainment Representative supporting F-22 Flight Test operations with potential support for F-16 and F-35 Flight Test Programs.

  • Provides guidance based on policies and procedures
  • Performs surveillance on maintenance related functions
  • Performs preliminary review of Material Review Board dispositions
  • Affords assistance with root cause analysis and corrective action plans
  • Collaborates with multiple functions/departments to assure compliance and continuous improvement
  • Reviews and authors Quality processes and procedures
  • Performs audit and records keeping of aircraft documents
  • Oversees configuration management of aircraft parts
  • Manages Engineering Inspection Requests on assigned aircraft

Who You Are

Desired Skills

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action experience
  • Previous Quality Control/Assurance experience
  • Green Belt, Black Belt, ASQ CQE or CMQQE training/certification
  • Demonstrated quality science experience in the following areas: statistical analysis, statistical process control, sampling, six sigma, process auditing or validation, and supplier quality management
  • Experience in Flight Line/Flight Test
  • Experience in designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment
  • Experience in interpreting performance specifications and other systems integration technical data
  • Demonstrated ability to work at all levels to identify and drive root cause corrective actions
  • Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Self-starter, with an attention to detail, who can work autonomously with minimal direction in a fast-paced dynamic environment
