About the Role
As a Delivery Driver at Aaron’s, you’ll engage in a dynamic, hands-on position that goes beyond a typical desk job. Responsibilities include driving, installing, demonstrating merchandise, and assisting customers. Since this role is store-based, you’ll also support the store by moving, installing, and picking up merchandise. Every day offers variety and the chance to connect with people in your community.
This role can be the first step in a rewarding career path, with opportunities to advance to positions such as Customer Accounts Advisor, Sales Manager, Customer Accounts Manager, or General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and protect merchandise for delivery
- Offload, install, and demonstrate merchandise to customers
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle
- Assist in the store as needed
Requirements
- Solid communication skills
- Working knowledge of electronics
- Desire to help customers
- Must be at least 21 years old (18 in Canada)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.)
- Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. without help and 300 lbs. with a dolly (training and tools provided)
- Able to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and extreme heat
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL not required)
- No overnight travel
Pay
The salary range for this role is $14.75 to $15.50 per hour.
