Deli Stocking Clerk

About the role

Responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude; will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising. This early morning position requires starting work at 5:00am to break down the daily delivery and stock the sales floor with Fresh From Meijer products.

What will you be doing?

• Build rapport with customers
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language
• Respond to customer questions in an effective manner
• Stock product and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards
• Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers

• Applicants must be 18 years old or older

Pay

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between $15.25 - $16.98 with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.
