Deli Sales - Cedar Hills
Salary: $21.30 - $23.30/hour ($16.80/hour + tips, which average an additional $5-$7/hour). FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt.

This is a full-time position that requires weekend availability and some holidays.
Requirements
- Current Oregon Food Handler's card
- Current OLCC Permit
- Reliable transportation (Elephants Cedar Hills is located at 2905 SW Cedar Blvd, Beaverton)
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience (food service or hospitality experience highly preferred)
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in cheese and charcuterie sales
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to stay composed and solution-oriented under pressure
- High standards for cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence
- Reliability, accountability, and a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities
- Slice, package, weigh, price, and merchandise the department’s deli and bakery products
- Communicate detailed product information to customers, share origin stories
- Actively sell and upsell foods and specials by offering samples and recommendations
- Become acutely tuned in to the sales goal and help meet and exceed that goal through speedy and friendly service
- Oversee retail presentation and seasonal displays
- Direct customers to stations and areas of the store
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Cross-train in various FOH roles
- Reinforce service, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Monitor workflow and pace during peak hours
- Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
