Brief Overview

Our team includes professionals from various roles, contributing to the success of our stores, national accounts, and other retail channels.

Position Summary

This role involves working independently to prepare and stock deli products, ensuring they meet the financial goals of the store. Duties include baking and frying, pricing, wrapping, and stocking deli items, as well as assisting with inventory management and maintaining a clean, well-stocked department.

What You'll Do

• Determine baking and frying duties according to the production schedule.
• Price, date, wrap, and/or bag deli products.
• Fill, rotate, inspect, and merchandise deli shelves, cases, and displays.
• Notify the Deli Manager about product and supply needs.
• Absorb and assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise.
• Show familiarity with all products in the department, noting their differences in price, taste, preparation, and usage.
• Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department.
• Follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety guidelines, food safety expectations, and guest experience guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks in other departments as needed.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma (preferred)
• One year of retail or related experience (preferred)
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
• Basic mathematical skills
• Detail-oriented

Physical Requirements

• Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
• Work in a typical retail store environment with varied temperatures and exposure to outside weather conditions.
• Exposure to noise levels usually low to moderate.
