Located in Melville, NY. Monday - Friday, 4 PM - 12 AM (Full Time).

Pay

$21.00 per hour, paid weekly via direct deposit.

Responsibilities

• Preparing daily meals including made-to-order deli/salad items and catering orders as needed
• Chopping and slicing meats, cheese and vegetables; cooking, making sandwiches, grab‑and‑go items, etc.
• Preparing lunch and dinner station according to company guidelines
• Stocking stations with all items necessary for service
• Baking, roasting, broiling and steaming meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods
• Carving, trimming and preparing meats and seafood for hot or cold service
• Ensuring customers are taken care of and the department looks clean and presentable at all times
• Providing excellent customer service: being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers
• Operating and sanitizing all equipment safely and properly
• Assisting culinary staff at numerous stations as directed
• Adhering to and promoting company standards for safety, proper food handling, sanitation, uniform guidelines and productivity

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1‑3 years’ experience in a similar deli position
• Dependable, neat, clean, professional with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house
