About the role

A Deli Clerk prepares deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, and gourmet and hot-case food items, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. The role involves using tools such as meat and cheese slicers, food scales, fryers, ovens, and cash registers. You’ll guide and inspire customers, making each visit memorable through exceptional service and a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve deli products, including meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, and hot-case items.
• Operate equipment like slicers, scales, fryers, ovens, and cash registers.
• Provide outstanding customer service, sharing knowledge about products and creating a welcoming experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Engage with customers and team members with a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
