About the role

Nugget Markets is seeking friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as deli clerks. Hourly rates are determined by experience, location, and tenure.

Responsibilities

• Share product knowledge and promote department items
• Provide world-class service to diverse guests
• Prepare sandwiches according to posted menu and guest requests
• Slice meats and cheeses
• Prepare rotisserie chickens
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Proficient in using commercial kitchen equipment
• Basic to proficient knife skills
• Previous food service experience helpful, but not required
• Basic understanding of the English language
• Able to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules, and signage
• Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic
• Able to learn and retain product knowledge
• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude is essential
