Deli/Bakery Retail Specialist

About the role

Empire Marketing Strategies is seeking a Deli/Bakery Specialist in Arvada, CO. We are a leader in in-store execution for over 40 years, enhancing the customer experience in grocery retail. Our team partners with top brands to optimize their presence in over 2,500 store locations.

Responsibilities

• Shelf Maintenance: Rotate product as required, conduct regular checks, and ensure 100% distribution of all approved products.
• Product Analysis & Reporting: Maintain and update territorial records, review sales reports, and report information through proper channels.
• Promotional Display Maintenance: Set up displays, coordinate promotional programs, and execute point-of-sale materials.
• Customer Support and Training: Establish rapport with store personnel, perform training demonstrations, and provide customer support.
• Other Administrative Duties: Communicate via email and phone, maintain territory files, and attend company meetings.

Requirements

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, current driver’s license, and 1-2 years of CPG/grocery/retail industry experience.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to operate a motor vehicle, stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 40-60 pounds, and use hands and arms.

Physical Environment

Duties are typically performed in a retail grocery store setting, including refrigerated or freezer environments. Also required to be in outside facilities, which may include customer warehouses, kitchens, and manufacturer-client facilities.

Pay

$31,875 - $51,000 per year
