About the role

As a Food Clerk at Meijer, you will deliver remarkable customer service, provide exceptional product knowledge, and maintain fresh, visually appealing product displays across Fresh departments such as Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
