About the role

A Deli Bakery Associate is responsible for preparing, handling, and serving deli and bakery products while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Slicing meats and cheeses
• Preparing sandwiches and ready-to-eat foods
• Baking or finishing bakery items
• Packaging products
• Stocking displays
• Maintaining fresh, attractive presentation in both deli and bakery cases
• Assisting customers with orders, special requests, and product recommendations
• Accurately labeling and pricing items
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Following food safety regulations
• Rotating inventory
• Minimizing waste
