About the role

Part‑time position in the deli department at Cub Foods Lake Stre, reporting to the Deli Manager. You will prepare deli products, maintain cases and displays, keep the store clean, work as part of a team, and have the opportunity to earn extra pay for open availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli products including a variety of meats and cheeses (may handle pork)
• Fill and rotate cases and displays (may involve heavy lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary for an awesome department
• Be punctual, work as scheduled, and contribute to a positive team environment

• Knowledge of meats, cheeses, salads and good food
• Has attended Food Safety training
• Motivated to grow career and continue learning
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull 500‑1500 lbs, and perform frequent physical tasks (walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting)
• Occasional lifting/carrying over 50 lbs and crawling
• Experience operating equipment: scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives, roaster, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, pizza oven, coffee pot, cleaning utensils
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures, around hot equipment and cooking oil
• Basic mental judgment, decision‑making, social skills, memorization, reading, writing, math

Pay

Progressive scale from $16.07 to $18.00 per hour based on experience, with the possibility of earning an additional $3.00 per hour for open availability.

Schedule

Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours.
