About the role
Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe, clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department and control all established quality assurance standards. Monitor all functions, duties and activities related to the Deli department.
Responsibilities

- Manage inventory and stock levels.
- Manage pricing and promotional activities.
- Train and develop associates.

- Manage staff schedules.
- Manage product quality and freshness.
- Manage safety programs.
- Manage store and department budgets.
- Manage promotional plans.
- Manage price changes.
- Manage inventory processes.
- Manage temperature controls.
- Manage legal and compliance issues.
- Manage conflicts and disputes.
- Manage customer interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
Requirements
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Current food handlers permit
Desired
- High School Diploma or GED
- Management experience
- Deli/retail experience
- Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing)

Pay
Salary range: $15 - $20 per hour
