Deli Associate-- Corporate Dining

About the role

This Deli Associate role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, paninis, and catering items while keeping the day moving smoothly. It's a fast-paced café environment where you'll take pride in clean and organized food service and make customers feel welcome with great service and a great meal.

Responsibilities

• Create made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, and paninis for café service and catering orders.
• Set up, maintain, and break down the station.
• Prepare, stock, label, and date all products for the station.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Stand for extended periods of time and move objects approximately 35 lbs. to waist height.
• Operate and disassemble meat and cheese slicers, knife skills, and related utensils and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.

Requirements

• Experience with assembly, operation, and disassembly of meat and cheese slicers.
• Familiarity with knife skills and related utensils and equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to move objects approximately 35 lbs. to waist height.
• Adherence to client and company protocols related to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar fast-paced food service environment preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
