Defensive Coordinator - Assistant Coach

About the role

The successful candidate will lead the defensive unit, develop game plans, and work closely with the head coach to implement strategies that enhance team performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute game plans for the defense
• Work with the head coach to refine defensive schemes
• Coach defensive players and provide feedback on their performance
• Attend all team meetings and practices
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in coaching, sports science, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of coaching experience at the high school or college level
• Proven ability to motivate and develop young athletes
• Experience with youth development programs is a plus

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of football rules and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
