Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS) SME
About the role
Sev1Tech is seeking a Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS) SME to support the US Space Force, Space Operations Command (SpOC), Space Delta 8. Space Delta 8 leads the operation, maintenance, and modernization of the Wideband Global SATCOM System (WGS).
Responsibilities
- Support the technical assistance, analysis, and informal training related to the DSCS satellite and the RSCCE.
Requirements
- US Active Top Secret (or TS/SCI) level clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication by the cognizant security authority)
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 10 years experience specific to DSCS satellite control, payload operations and RSCCE ground system operations and maintenance
- Requires travel as necessary to support requirements at other sites, as well as technical meetings
