Job Details

Job Duties

  • Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
  • Handle all phases of discovery, including written discovery, disclosures, document production, and document review
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents
  • Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and other proceedings
  • Develop litigation strategy and perform legal research for complex matters
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trial
  • Participate in trial preparation, including exhibit management, witness preparation, and case development
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service
  • Maintain established billable hour expectations and organize case management practices

Job Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Active Arizona Bar license in good standing
  • 3-10+ years of litigation defense experience preferred
  • Background in insurance defense or complex civil litigation strongly preferred
  • Experience with Clio or other legal case management software preferred
