About the Role

As an OTR Driver at Kenco Logistics, you will operate tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment in accordance with all DOT regulations to transport product safely and legally from Distribution Centers and their vendors to their destination. You will ensure timely deliveries, monitor freight security, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment in compliance with DOT regulations to transport products safely and legally.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to their destination.
  • Monitor freight for secure devices and straps to prevent damage during transit.
  • Follow company policies, participate in required trainings, and maintain a clean truck.
  • Maintain driver’s daily logs, trip reports, and other required documentation.
  • Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor-trailers.
  • Report all instances of damaged product to the Transportation Supervisor/Manager immediately.
  • Communicate any delivery issues to the Transportation Supervisor/Manager.
  • Keep equipment fueled, tidy, and in compliance with inspection requirements.
  • Account for all assigned tools and equipment.
  • Maintain professional conduct and attitude toward other motorists.
  • Conform to all DOT and OSHA regulations.
  • Perform any other reasonable requests as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer Class A driving experience.
  • Class A CDL required.
  • Meets FMCSA and company requirements.
  • Pass background and drug screening.
  • Clean driving record.

Travel Requirements

This position is expected to travel approximately 75% or greater. A passport is not required but recommended.
