About the role

CRST The Transportation Solution Inc. is one of the nation’s largest transportation companies, providing total transportation solutions and comprehensive logistics services to customers all over North America. We are looking for a Yardman to drive locally in the yard in San Leandro, CA.

Responsibilities

• Drive locally in the yard
• Operate manual transmission trucks (53' dry van and double flatbeds)
• Perform drop and hook operations
• Enjoy daily home time

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• CDL‑A required
• Minimum 3 months of yard experience
• Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered pursuant to applicable federal, state, and local laws

Benefits become available after 60 days of employment; employees must enroll within 60 days of hire. All benefits provide nationwide coverage.

Pay

$68,000 to $71,000 per year; $25 per hour for unlicensed CDL holders, $26 per hour for licensed CDL holders, with overtime pay after 40 hours.

Schedule

Average of 50‑55 hours worked per week; daily home time.
