DeDe McGuire hosts her nationally syndicated radio show, "DeDe in the Morning," heard weekday mornings on over 80 stations across America. The show broadcasts live from KKDA/K104 Dallas, Texas, and focuses on entertaining, empowering, and enlightening audiences with a mix of Urban, Urban AC, Hip-Hop/R&B, and Rhythmic CHR formats.
DeDe is a trailblazing media personality, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who has earned recognition as one of the few women nationwide to host her own morning show. She has interviewed world leaders and celebrities, including President Obama, Vice President Kamala Harris, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé, and has appeared on major networks such as CNN, FOX, Oxygen, and BET.
Responsibilities
- Host a nationally syndicated morning radio show with a focus on engaging, entertaining, and empowering audiences.
- Conduct high-profile interviews with political leaders, celebrities, and influencers.
- Represent the show and brand at public events, media appearances, and industry conferences.
- Engage with listeners through on-air segments, social media, and community initiatives.
- Collaborate with production teams to develop compelling content for the show.
- Participate in philanthropic efforts and community outreach programs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a radio host or media personality, preferably in a nationally syndicated or high-profile role.
- Strong interviewing skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of guests, from political figures to celebrities.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, with a dynamic on-air presence.
- Deep understanding of Urban, Urban AC, Hip-Hop/R&B, and Rhythmic CHR formats.
- Experience in community engagement, philanthropy, or activism is highly desirable.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, live broadcasting environment.
