Deburr Operator

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Deburr parts as needed using proper tools.
• Hone parts.
• Pack parts.
• Wash and dip parts.
• Ability to learn to drill, tap and flange.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Occasionally receive, validate, and process incoming parts from outside sources.
• Notify purchasing of missing/discrepant packing slips.
• Enter transactions into E2.
• Handle and process all necessary paperwork.

Qualifications

• Able to read job travelers.
• Able to work in a team oriented, fast paced environment.
• Able to punch in and out as needed on computers.
• Able to effectively use computers.
• Have solid basic math skills.

Abilities

• Good listening, problem sensitivity, quick response reaching time, arm-hand steadiness and rate control.
• Analyzing information and evaluation results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Providing information to supervisors and co-workers via telephone, written form, e-mail or in person.
• The ability to meet strict deadlines or be able to communicate those that cannot be met.
• Must follow all safety procedures and policies as mandated by B&B.
• Able to stand on hard surface for the entire work shift.
• Frequent walking.
