Deburr / Hand finisher

About the role

CMI Group is seeking hand finishers at their North and South Phoenix locations. Positions are available in defense and aerospace machine shops.

Responsibilities

• Deburr/hand finish parts according to sketches/blue prints and/or department/lead/supervisor instructions
• Read and understand basic blue print notes and deburr sketches
• Communicate and follow verbal instructions
• Previous experience using a micro blaster is a plus
• Knowledge and use of deburring abrasives, and burrs for specific materials preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience cleaning of parts as necessary
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs
• Able to sit at work station for extended periods of time

Qualifications

The position requires a team-oriented environment with top paying wages and benefits in the valley for the aerospace industry. Candidates must be able to work 40+ hours per week in a fast-paced, high-demand, quality environment. Must have sufficient verbal and written communication skills, as well as good problem-solving skills.

Schedule

• Day shift: 6am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday
• Night shift: 3:30pm - 2am Monday - Thursday
• Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 6am - 6:30pm (work 36 hours, get paid for 40)
